Which skin peel is right for me?

We provide a range of skin peels to achieve different outcomes. On the lighter end of the range, peels can be a way of treating yourself with no associated downtime for when you want to look your best. Our more intensive peel targets skin conditions and more advanced damage. We will assess your skin and aesthetic concerns and goals during your consultation, advising you on the right peel for your skin.

What is the Fire and Ice peel?

The Fire and Ice Peel, also known as the Red Carpet Facial, is a medical-grade peel for facial resurfacing. At the lighter end of the peels we offer, it’s highly effective in the treatment of acne, with anti-ageing, smoothing, softening, brightening, and hydrating effects. This is a highly popular luxury or pampering treatment, designed to help you look your best for that special occasion.

What is the BioRePeel?

This is our most intensive peel, using a Trichloracetic acid (TCA )to treat acne/post-acne-scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and melasma, The BioRePeel is medium depth, removing several upper layers of skin for significant improvement of these skin conditions.

Does a skin peel hurt?

This depends on the peel. Clients usually tell us the Fire and Ice peel is pain free, though levels of discomfort vary from person to person. Some clients report mild discomfort during the BioRePeel, which they describe as a tingling sensation.

Will there be downtime after a skin peel?

Again, this depends on the peel. The Fire and Ice Resurfacing Peel has no associated downtime at all, whereas the BioRePeel can result in a period of 2 – 5 days of superficial dryness and mild peeling. Other peels we offer are somewhere between. We will discuss downtime in more detail during your skin consultation.

Will one peel be enough?

While there are benefits to be had from just one skin peel we often recommend a course of peels to achieve optimal results but would discuss this during your consultation.
